I joined Bower Bailey in October 2015 as a trainee solicitor. The firm has a very welcoming and inclusive ethos for all new recruits with ample opportunities to join in sporting and other social activities, many of which are instigated by the trainees. This not only makes it an enjoyable place to work but is particularly important for people like me who joined the firm from out of the area and it helped me settle in quickly.
I joined the Oxford property team when I qualified in October 2017. The training never truly stops however – I find I am still learning new skills and broadening my areas of expertise to better assist clients.
Having worked with some of Bower Bailey’s best lawyers during my training, I have amalgamated their key strengths and work ethics to try and provide the best possible service to my clients. Support is always on hand from experienced colleagues, so I can draw on their opinions and perspectives to help me progress my cases efficiently.
I really valued this support throughout my training and qualification and I continue to value it now. It’s essential for a career in the law, which can at times be stressful but is also very rewarding. Based in the firm’s Oxford office, I also enjoy being in this beautiful, vibrant city.
