Clinical Negligence (sixth edition) Book Launch

22nd April 2024

David Black and Tim Fraser, who work in Bower Bailey’s Clinical Negligence team, attended the book launch of “Clinical Negligence” (sixth edition) at Lincoln’s Inn on 18 April. The textbook is the leading Clinical Negligence text for practitioners in the field. David and Tim co-authored a chapter of the textbook with High Court judge and Senior Master of the King’s Bench Division Cook, Master David Cook.

Each chapter is written by leading legal and medical specialists in the field of Clinical Negligence. The book launch was attended by all the contributors in the Old Hall of Lincoln’s Inn in celebration of the publication of the sixth edition of the textbook and the 34 years since the first edition, published in 1990.

Below are some reviews of the textbook that can be found on the publisher’s website:

“It retains its place as a key guide for practitioners in this area. I have been looking forward to the new edition and am not disappointed. There is little in the field of clinical negligence that is not at least touched upon and the text either provides useful guidance (procedural or medical) or at least points in the right direction.” P Luscumbe, NLJ

“There are certain law books that stand out as in a class of their own…. I would highly recommend this book for those practising in this area. It is high quality, clear and comprehensive and will no doubt prove an invaluable source of reference. Five stars on all counts.” T Kevan, PIBULJ.COM
