Following qualification in 2003 Robert remained working at the same Berkshire firm for seven years until he relocated to Oxfordshire in 2010.

He joined the Oxford office of Bower Bailey in 2015 as a property solicitor becoming an associate of the firm in 2020 and a partner in September 2021.

Robert’s post qualification experience has enabled him to build up expertise in both residential and commercial property transactions.

Recent work:

  • Acted in an equity release mortgage which enabled the client to finance the redecoration of her home and travel abroad to visit family and meet a great grandchild for the first time.
  • Acted for clients in the sale of a property locally and in the purchase of their dream home (new build) in Devon following their retirement.
  • Acted for a couple in the purchase of their first home, including applying for a bonus available to certain first time buyers under the government’s Help to Buy ISA scheme.
  • Acted in the purchase of a set of garages at auction.
  • Acted in the purchase of a building for his client to convert to residential flats and then acted in the sale of the individual leases.

Personal interests:

Outside of work Robert very much enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. With what other little free time he has he enjoys playing football and squash, as well as watching sport attending live matches at Arsenal whenever he can. He also enjoys collecting comics and is a member of a local war-gaming club.
