Rob is a partner based in the Banbury office. He is an experienced corporate lawyer and heads up the company and commercial team. Rob joined the firm in 2004 and previously spent six years working for commercial practices in Warsaw and Birmingham. He has an in-depth knowledge of company and commercial law gained from advising businesses and individuals in a wide range of commercial sectors.  Rob operates out of all four of the firm’s offices to meet clients’ requirements.

  • Advised Northampton Town Ventures Limited on the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Northampton Town Football Club, a complex transaction completed in a very short timescale.
  • Advised a company’s management team on the acquisition of a services company for several million pounds.
  • Advised the sellers on the sale of a construction company to the management team.
  • Advised a corporate buyer on multiple acquisitions in the lettings and estate agency sector.
  • Advised on the demerger of a company by way of s110 reorganisation.
  • Advised on the merger of an accountancy business, completed from start to finish in less than one month.

Personal interests:

Outside work, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, playing squash (injuries permitting), scuba diving and the occasional trip to the gym.
