Jackie is a Chartered Legal Executive who joined Bower Bailey as a partner in the family team in November 2022 having previously spent 21 years at a leading national law firm. She is highly experienced having worked in the sector for over 30 years.

Jackie is adept at advising on all matters relating to relationship breakdown, to include divorce and high net worth financial remedy proceedings, and issues relating to children. She also advises on pre- and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, the recognition of English pensions within foreign divorces and international surrogacy cases.

From the outset, Jackie works hard to understand and achieve her client’s objectives as quickly and smoothly as possible. She has a strong idea of the likely solutions to the case and how to achieve a swift outcome. She recognises that every separation comes with its own challenges for all concerned and is fully conversant with the need to take the heat out of the situation wherever possible. She aims to achieve a workable solution, preferably by agreement, but if that’s not possible, through Court proceedings, in a cost proportionate way.

Jackie is a member of Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers who are committed to promoting a non-confrontational approach to family issues as cost effectively as possible. She is a former Vice-Chair of the Oxford branch.
