Giles joined the Swindon office in April 2021, working as a paralegal in the commercial and residential property team, whilst simultaneously completing his LPC with the University of Law in 2023. He began his training contract with the firm in January 2024.

Prior to joining Bower Bailey, Giles received his undergraduate degree in history from Loughborough University in 2017, and then went on to obtain a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University in 2020.

Recent work

Giles has continued working with the commercial and residential property team where he assists on and has exposure to the purchasing, selling, and remortgaging of residential properties for commercial clients, buy-to-let properties and transactions involving a wide variety of mortgage lenders. He also assists the team in the following areas:

  • Leasehold properties
  • Portfolio refinances
  • Auction properties
  • Drafting new leases
  • Unregistered land and adverse possession

Personal interests

Giles is a keen tennis fan, having played competitively from a young age. Highlights include having a top 10 national ranking as a junior, playing at Wimbledon multiple times and training with stars such as Pat Cash and Tim Henman.

Giles is also an animal and nature-lover, having grown-up in the countryside with his parents’ dogs, cat and horses.
