Claire joined Bower Bailey in 2021 as a Senior Associate. Claire heads up the Swindon litigation and dispute resolution team.

Claire qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and since qualification has specialised in civil litigation and dispute resolution.

Claire has extensive experience in resolving civil disputes for individuals, businesses, partnerships, landed estates, farmers and rural landowners.

Claire always ensures that she provides a pragmatic and solution-focussed approach and aims to resolve her clients’ disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.

In addition, Claire is also a committee member of the Wiltshire Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution charity (R.A.B.I).

  • Acted on behalf of clients in a breach of share sale agreement, involving commercial litigation
  • Acted on behalf of client in a co-habitation dispute following the breakdown of their relationship and bringing a claim under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA)
  • Acting for a landowner in a definitive map change matter and submitting representations to the local authority.
  • Representing estate landlords and obtaining vacant possession of properties let under Rent Act tenancies and assured shorthold tenancies
  • Defending a breach of trust claim

Personal interests:

Outside of the office Claire enjoys gardening and any type of exercise, which mainly involves taking long walks with her dogs.
