Solicitors for the Elderly (“SFE”) accreditation

30th September 2019

Congratulations to Kirsty Southgate in our Witney office for becoming a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (“SFE”). SFE is a national organization of lawyers which specializes in assisting older and vulnerable clients with a variety of legal matters.

The organization ensures that all of its members meet high standards of practice and spend at least 50% of their time working with older or vulnerable clients. SFE accreditation is only open to qualified, regulated and insured lawyers who can demonstrate the necessary skills to pass the accreditation tests. Members are asked to comply with the SFE Code of Practice and a specific older client care procedure. This ensures that any clients instructing accredited members will receive the highest levels of service.

To ensure all accredited members have the most up to date and relevant knowledge, SFE regularly provides its members with training, legal updates and access to advice forums. For more information about SFE, or the benefits of using an SFE accredited solicitor, please visit https://sfe.legal/

Kirsty Southgate is a Senior Associate based in our Witney office. She specializes in all aspects of Private Client and Court of Protection work, with a particular emphasis on complex matters and assisting vulnerable clients.
