Katie is a partner in charge of family law in our Swindon office.   She qualified in 1996 and joined Bower Bailey in 1998.   She is known for her constructive and non-confrontational approach.

Katie’s ethos is to deal with all aspects of her family law work as collaboratively and cost effectively as possible.    The majority of her work comes from client referrals as well as other firms who do not offer matrimonial services, local judiciary and counsel.

Areas of expertise:

Katie has extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of the wide spectrum of family law with particular emphasis on resolving finances on the breakdown of relationships.  Her other areas of expertise include:

  • Divorce

  • Prenuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements
  • Private children matters including adoption  and finances
  • Injunctive relief to include protection from domestic violence and preservation of family assets.

As well as the above Katie has substantial experience in matrimonial property work which enables clients to retain her for property transfers and sales thus avoiding the need for instructing a separate lawyer once settlements are reached.
