Purchase of farm buildings for potential development subject to planning permission

Acted in the purchase of a potential development site comprising farm buildings in West Oxfordshire. The site was acquired under a contract which was conditional upon the grant of a satisfactory planning permission. The purchase price was calculated with reference to the internal square footage of the residential units to be built in accordance with the permission.

Assignment of option deed

Acted in the assignment of an existing option deed for the acquisition of a development site in a sought after area of west Oxford. The sellers had entered into an option to purchase the site upon the grant of a satisfactory planning permission. Following the grant the permission our clients agreed an assignment of the option in return for payment of a premium. The assignment was synchronised with the exercising of the option.

Purchase of sites for care homes

Acted for a large care home provider in relation to the acquisition of a number of sites for the building of care homes, and dealing with subsequent refinancing agreements for the development of the sites.
