Acted for a client in a clinical negligence claim against a hospital trust. The client had been admitted with a splenic infarction and was diagnosed without review or commencement of anticoagulation medicine. As a result she suffered a stroke. The case settled shortly before trial for substantial damages.
Claim arising from negligent by-pass surgery
Acted for a claimant who underwent a bi-femoral aortic bypass procedure. As a result of a negligent error further procedures were necessitated including the amputation of the client’s leg.
