Sue Bradford

Sue is a Chartered Legal Executive and is responsible for Matrimonial matters in the Banbury office. She has extensive experience in providing legal advice on all areas concerning families and has worked at Bower & Bailey since 1986, being admitted to the Institute of Legal Executives in 1995. Sue is also a Collaborative Lawyer and member of Resolution.

During this time she has gained considerable experience in all areas of family practice, including all issues following a family breakdown, whether the client is married or has children, or is in a same sex relationship.

Sue appreciates that family practice requires not only a comprehensive understanding of the relevant legal principles but also that clients need varying levels of emotional support during what is a very difficult time.

  • Advising on a divorce case where the other party has been made bankrupt, and negotiating terms of settlement with the Trustee in Bankruptcy
  • Advising client under the Exceptional Hardship Scheme due to the planned route of HS2 which runs close to Banbury
  • Removal of a child from the Court’s jurisdiction, being successful in obtaining an Order that children should not be removed
