Bower & Bailey has been an important
part of the legal scene since David Bower started the
firm in 1973. In 1975 Tim Bailey joined the firm and
shortly afterwards Julian Smith joined the Witney office.
All three of them are still with the firm. Since the
early days the firm has continued to rapidly expand
until today when it has become a major presence in the
legal markets in which it operates. Bower & Bailey
now has offices in Oxford, Swindon, Witney, and Banbury.
In 2003 Bower & Bailey took over the long established
and highly regarded Oxford firm of Simms.
